About Creative Yarns
Creative Yarns was established by Christy Ott in 2002, as strictly a teaching endeavor. Not satisfied with the local selection of yarns and accessories, Christy opened the current ‘brick and mortar’ shop in March of 2003. Her enthusiasm for knitting and the related fiber arts is contagious.
We are proud of our selection of yarns and accessories. Our goal is to keep abreast of the new yarns, patterns, books and accessories that you see in the current knitting/crochet magazines. If we don’t have something, we are more than willing to find it and order it for you.
The women who work in Creative Yarns are not only talented and creative, but are personable ladies who make this shop so unique. Each of them know how to knit (most crochet as well) and will take the time to make your visit a comfortable and productive one, whether you are looking for yarns, patterns, or ‘just looking’.
